The Photo Session

Location: Your home or ours, indoor or outdoor

Sitting Fee: $100 our home / $125 your home

* Sitting fee includes up to 4 people ($10 for each additional person)

Ownership

We offer 100% ownership of our photographs for your own personal use. Finished images are provided to you in CD format, and a copyright release form will be provided. This price DOES NOT include the sitting fee.

Entire Shoot: $300 with a minimum $150 print order

 

WHAT TO WEAR

The following are just suggested guidelines based on our previous experiences.

Avoid:

• • Overt stripes, plaids or animal print tops
• • Bright pink or green top
• • Contrasting piping around collar and cuffs (ex. white shirt with red piping)
• • Wearing sweaters with a large pattern on the front (especially in B&W)
• • Putting large or small "bow" clips in your little girl’s hair. If she needs to keep hair out of her eyes, select a clip that blends with her hair color.

Select:

Comfortable, light colored, plain tops. All white creates a very stark picture, so mix it up a bit. The visual theory is: Light colors move forward and dark colors recede to our eyes.

Comfortable pants so everyone can be active. Jeans are good. Khaki is fine. Dark pants are always OK. Be sure to avoid white pants on the adults and older kids. In warm weather, you may want to put khaki shorts on your little ones so we can work with a fun, barefoot look.

Keep hair from faces and out of eyes. Photography is all about catching the light; and shots will suffer if we cannot view it dancing off your cheeks, brightening your eyes and brightening your smile. Pig-tails and pony-tails work well and may be tied with a band or soft ribbon (just not the bow "propeller" clips).

It is up to you how dressed up or casual you want to look. We just want you to enjoy the experience and the photographs for years to come.
